Preservation and Recovery of Protected Areas

Zanotti preserves the flora and fauna along the banks of the Itapocu River, protecting the Permanent Preservation Areas. It has created a Degraded Area Recovery Plan, removing eucalyptus trees and replanting native trees to protect the soil against erosion and floods.

Products Free of Toxic Substances

Zanotti is certified with the Oeko-Tex® Standard 100 seal, ensuring products free from toxic substances and safe for the skin. This international certification covers all production stages, promoting a positive impact on the environment.

Recyclable Packaging

Zanotti produces 11 million meters of elastic tape per day, packaged in recyclable cardboard boxes. The spools are made from recycled materials, dyed black, and all packaging is recyclable, promoting a sustainable life cycle.

Control of Atmospheric Emissions

We control the atmospheric emissions from the chimneys through external and internal analyses. We adhere to environmental requirements to preserve the Ozone Layer, which is essential for the stability of life on Earth.

Installation of Solar Panels

Zanotti has begun the installation of solar panels to generate energy, focusing on environmental preservation. The technology captures sunlight daily, generating energy even on cloudy or rainy days. This ensures the use of a clean energy source in various company processes.

Water Reuse and Treatment

We capture over 4,000 m³ of rainwater per year for reuse. Since 2020, we have been using a Water Treatment system with Ozone Gas to purify the water used in dyeing, in addition to the traditional purification method.

Recycling and Proper Waste Disposal

Over the years, Zanotti Elásticos has implemented several environmental projects. Currently, the company recycles over 80% of all the waste generated.
